  WHAT HAPPENED?

  The Samba star has been out of action since damaging knee ligaments in October 2023. He was laid low on World Cup qualifying duty, with only five appearances taken in for Al-Hilal after securing a move to the Saudi Pro League on a lucrative contract.

  There has been talk of a spell in the Middle East being cut short, with a Lionel Messi reunion at MLS side Inter Miami being speculated on. Neymar has played those rumours down, with there a desire on his part to prove his worth at Al-Hilal.
